4. Where information comes from

We obtain information directly from customers, from their use of the website, and from service providers involved in payments, fraud prevention, delivery, analytics, advertising and customer support. We may also receive information from publicly available sources where lawful.

5. Sharing information

We share information only where necessary with categories of recipients including Shopify and website-hosting providers; payment processors; delivery and fulfilment providers; customer-service, email and rewards providers; analytics and advertising providers used with appropriate consent; professional advisers, insurers and auditors; fraud-prevention providers; and public authorities where required by law.

Service providers may use information only under their own lawful role or under contractual instructions from VonJon. We do not sell personal information for money.

6. International transfers

Some providers may process personal information outside the United Kingdom. Where UK data-protection law restricts a transfer, we use an applicable UK adequacy regulation, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to approved standard contractual clauses, or another lawful safeguard. Information about applicable safeguards may be requested using the contact above.

7. Retention

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe method. Marketing consent can also be withdrawn by contacting contact@shopvonjon.com. Service messages concerning an order or account are not marketing and may still be sent where necessary.

We use essential technologies to operate the store and, with consent, may use analytics, functionality and advertising technologies. Details and controls are provided in our Cookie Policy and Cookie Preferences tool.

10. Individual rights

Rights are subject to legal conditions and exceptions.

Send a request to contact@shopvonjon.com. We may need information to verify identity. There is normally no fee, and we normally respond within one month unless the law permits an extension.

11. Automated decisions

Payment and fraud-prevention providers may generate risk indicators or automated recommendations. VonJon does not intentionally make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects unless this is necessary to enter into or perform a contract, authorised by law, or based on explicit consent, with required safeguards.

Raise concerns first with VonJon at contact@shopvonjon.com. Individuals also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.
