Statutory Consumer Rights
VonJon Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 15398522.
This page summarises key rights for customers purchasing from VonJon. It is not a complete statement of the law and does not replace the rights provided by applicable legislation.
Goods must meet legal standards
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods supplied to consumers must be of satisfactory quality, fit for any purpose made known to the seller and match their description, model or sample. Digital content and services, where supplied, are subject to their own statutory standards.
Faulty or misdescribed goods
Where goods do not meet legal standards, remedies may include the short-term right to reject, repair or replacement, a price reduction or final rejection, depending on the circumstances and timing. VonJon bears reasonable return costs for faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods.
Online cancellation
For most online purchases, a consumer may cancel without giving a reason within 14 days after receiving the goods and then has another 14 days to return them. Statutory exceptions may apply, including certain personalised goods and qualifying sealed hygiene goods after opening.
Refunds
For a valid cancellation, VonJon refunds the price and, where the whole order is cancelled, the cost of the least expensive standard delivery offered. A deduction may be made only for diminished value caused by handling beyond what would reasonably be permitted in a shop.
Sale items
Sale and promotional items carry the same statutory rights as full-price items. A goodwill policy may impose different conditions only where it gives rights beyond the statutory minimum.
Fair information and pricing
Product descriptions, availability statements, reviews, promotions and prices must not mislead consumers. Mandatory charges imposed by VonJon will be disclosed before an order is placed. VonJon does not use its policies to exclude rights that cannot legally be excluded.
How to raise a problem
Email contact@shopvonjon.com with the order number and a description of the issue. Complaints will be handled fairly and without limiting the customer's right to seek independent advice or use available legal remedies.
Relationship with other policies
Detailed procedures appear in our Delivery & Returns Policy and Terms and Conditions. Nothing in those documents affects mandatory statutory rights.
