These Terms govern your use of shopvonjon.com and purchases made from VonJon. They should be read with our Delivery & Returns Policy, Privacy Notice, Cookie Policy and Payment Information.

2. Using our website

You may use this website only for lawful personal or business purposes. You must not interfere with its security or operation, introduce malicious code, scrape it unlawfully, misuse another person's information, infringe intellectual-property rights or use the website fraudulently.

We may suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, fraud prevention or a material breach of these Terms.

3. Product information and availability

We take reasonable care to ensure product descriptions, measurements, images and prices are accurate. Screen settings and lighting may affect how colours appear. Minor variations that do not make a product materially different from its description are not defects.

Products are subject to availability. Placing an item in a basket does not reserve it. We may limit quantities where reasonably necessary, including to prevent fraud or unauthorised resale.

4. Prices and charges

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include UK VAT where applicable. Delivery charges and any other mandatory charges will be shown before the customer places the order. Customers ordering internationally may also be responsible for import duties, taxes and customs charges imposed by the destination country, where clearly disclosed before purchase.

5. Orders and contract formation

After an order is submitted, we send an acknowledgement confirming that we have received it. This acknowledgement does not mean that we have accepted the order. A contract is formed when we send a dispatch confirmation, unless checkout expressly states otherwise.

We may reject or cancel an order before dispatch for reasons including lack of stock, an obvious pricing or description error, inability to authorise payment, suspected fraud, delivery restrictions or breach of purchase limits. If payment has been taken, we will refund it promptly.

6. Payment

Payment methods available for an order are displayed at checkout. Payment is processed by Shopify and the payment providers shown at checkout. The time at which payment is authorised or captured depends on the method and our checkout configuration. Further information appears in our Payment Information document.

7. Delivery

Delivery options, costs and estimates are displayed at checkout and explained in our Delivery & Returns Policy. Unless another period is agreed, goods will be delivered without undue delay and no later than 30 days after the contract is made.

Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer when the customer, or a person identified by the customer other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods. Ownership passes when we receive payment in full and the goods are dispatched.

8. Cancellation, returns and faulty goods

Consumers may have a statutory right to cancel an online order without giving a reason. Separate rights apply where goods are faulty, not as described or unfit for purpose. Full procedures, deadlines and exclusions appear in our Delivery & Returns Policy. Nothing in these Terms restricts statutory rights.

9. Promotions and discount codes

Promotions apply only during the stated period and subject to their stated conditions. Unless stated otherwise, discount codes cannot be combined, exchanged for cash or applied retrospectively. We may withdraw a promotion where there is fraud, misuse or an obvious error, without affecting orders already validly accepted.

10. Gift cards and rewards

Gift cards and the VJ Heritage Rewards programme are subject to separate terms displayed when those services become available. Promotional rewards have no cash value unless the applicable terms expressly state otherwise. Statutory rights remain unaffected.

11. Intellectual property

The website and its content, including trade marks, photographs, graphics, product designs, text and layout, are owned by or licensed to VonJon. Content may not be reproduced, distributed, commercially exploited or adapted without written permission, except where the law permits.

12. Third-party services and links

The website may contain links to independent services. We are not responsible for their content or practices. This does not affect responsibility we cannot lawfully exclude, including responsibility for suppliers acting on our behalf in fulfilling a customer order.

13. Our responsibility

We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or breach of statutory consumer rights.

For consumers, we are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, business losses suffered by a consumer, or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control where we have taken reasonable steps to minimise the effect.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory remedy available under consumer law.

14. Personal information

We process personal information as described in our Privacy Notice and use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms for future website use and orders. The version applying to an order is the version provided or made available when that order is placed. Changes will not retrospectively reduce rights under an existing contract.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms and contracts with VonJon are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Consumers living elsewhere in the UK retain the protection of mandatory laws applicable where they live and may bring proceedings in any court available to them under applicable law.

Complaints should first be sent to contact@shopvonjon.com. We will aim to acknowledge a complaint within five working days and provide a substantive response within 14 working days.
